For anyone who didn’t see it, let me tell you.
The Doctor’s a time traveler. He brought Vincent Van Gogh (who was severely depressed and lost hope in his ability and himself) to the future, to a museum where they are celebrating his art.
I don’t know if any of you are artists (drawing, writing, whatever), but being a writer, this scene moved me to tears. You’re your own worst critic, and feel like your stuff is complete shit sometimes…maybe even to the level of despair like Van Gogh. But imagine someone brought you to a world where people love and appreciate your art. Or it means something so special to them. The thought of it is overwhelming.

So I finally got to have my photo taken with the brilliant Matt Smith. He gave me a very wide-eyed look and a grin when I walked up to him and was happy to do a back to back pose. It was also very surreal to have my photo taken with so many people staring! Either way it made my day and I hope you like it.

Making this a real post because I’m that pissed.
Livid. Disgusted.
Congratulations to all the twats (I don’t normally use that word but you’ve earned it) who have graduated from social justice mongers to INTERNET BULLIES. You people have not only bullied one person offline, but also Amanda Abbington from the looks of it.
Let’s put this into perspective. Amanda is a no nonsense woman who ACTUALLY knows the man. Does anyone honest to god believe that if Moffat was half the terror these dicks make him out to be she wouldn’t say as much or at least wouldn’t defend him?
So, for daring to give her opinion (as many of you already did) she has been harassed to the point of leaving twitter herself. Proud? They probably are. Clearly internet bullying is fine if it’s someone they don’t like. The only silver lining to this whole fiasco is that IF Amanda leaves, the dicks will have to own up to that every time they try to jerk off in public over what they’ve done.
The funny thing is. This won’t be looked back on as some great victory. It will be groaned about as a low point and I’m positive me and every other feminist out there is going to have to deal with the fall out for quite a few months because no doubt that’s what plenty of these bullies consider themselves to be.
This is why I’m not part of fandoms. I like shows and i’ll play along to a point but this shit keeps me from investing. Everyone is so damn sure they know better because they’ve read shit online and watched a TV show. Pathetic.
The fact that this all trickled down to Amanda makes me rage. She’s puts up with a LOT of bullshit for you people and yet you can’t even manage to let her have an opinion while you’re sitting there shipping her partner with another actor? Yeah, I can totally see the appeal. I can’t believe she didn’t leave sooner. I wouldn’t want to talk to any of you and usually I don’t. This shit is why.
No one is saying you have to like Moffat or anything so black and white. The problem is chasing someone offline with harassment. Maybe even two someones.
If you can’t see the problem with that than there’s not much else I can say.
